The name, Still Waters 232 Foundation, comes from Psalm 23:2—“He leads me beside still waters.” The original funds used to form this Foundation were donated by Philip, Susan, Caitlin, Christopher and Meghan Perdue. The desire of the founders and the Board of Directors is for these funds to bless others as we have been blessed.
As we carefully determine how to distribute these funds, we focus on celebrating the visible and invisible qualities that make each person unique. Our mission reflects our fundamental belief that all people have value and deserve to be treated with kindness and care.
